After a long while of not updating the situation of Pond, I'd better do something. His condition is a little bit better. Although he's still having a hole on the neck and another hole on his stomach, he's doing fine.
We need to change the breathing tube on his neck once a month. Otherwise, his breathing is not so good when the tube gets dirty. Each day, we have to give him 3-4 suctions. For meals, we divide into 4 meals of 400 cc every 6 hours. Good news is his weight is under control, and no sickness or infection to the lung during the past 12 months.
He's going to meet the doctor again this April 22. We don't know how long he needs to breath through his neck and eat through his stomach. But we're okay as long as his condition is good.
For physical therapy, his mother does some stretching and some excercise to the muscle. And everything looks good. However, he's not able to sit up right on the chair, so, we're afraid his back muscle is quite weak. We'll discuss with the doctor in a few weeks.
